Craft Beverage Focused Media, Events & Intelligence Company

Bevera.ca marked a pivotal evolution — not a departure from its past, but a considered reframing of it. As the digital successor to Brewers Journal Canada, the platform needed to honour its editorial heritage while expanding into a more dynamic, multi-dimensional brand ecosystem. Our vision was to create a platform that felt deeply local and human, yet technically adept. We aimed to build a digital home for Canadian beverage culture.

The Challenge
While its print publication (Brewers Journal Canada), live events, and digital media channels were each delivering value, they weren’t designed to work together. Each operated in isolation — successful, but somewhat disconnected. Print had reach, events had energy, and digital had potential - but there was no shared architecture binding them together. No overarching business model that could convert attention into engagement, and engagement into revenue and sustained growth. Editorial reach didn’t feed event attendance. Event visibility didn’t fuel digital momentum. Sponsorships were valuable, but underleveraged across platforms.

Laying The Groundwork
D’Vinci was engaged to help lead the rebrand, restructure and strategic repositioning. We worked closely with Richard Piotrowski to define how Bevera could function as an integrated ecosystem: editorially sharp, digitally nimble, and commercially aligned. The challenge was to preserve trust while introducing structure. Our early focus was on unifying Bevera’s event, media, and print pillars into a single, scalable business model — expanding beyond craft beer to encompass the full spectrum of craft beverages. Bevera is now relauncing in Q2 2025 as an omni-channel publishing, media and intelligence network with a growing roster of live events. The rebrand enables advertisers to reach a targeted audience of brewers, distillers, cider makers, and beverage innovators through multi-channel campaigns, advertising, branded content, and strategic sponsorships.
Start of the Journey
At the beginning of our design process were the architectural schematic, inspired sketches. We meticulously crafted these to spotlight Carefoote's core services and visualise the process. These are used throghout the website.

Engineering the Ecosystem
Bevera’s transformation was about building an interconnected system that honoured where the brand had come from, while designing for where it could go.
D’Vinci led this transformation end-to-end: from business strategy and rebrand positioning, to the full visual identity, UX, and content system. We designed and developed multiple properties — including the event site network, the Bevera.ca media hub, and Bevera.ai’s AI-powered intelligence platform — all interconnected and built for scale.
The ecosystem now spans digital and physical touchpoints: editorial platforms, live events, newsletters, SaaS products, and more. Every pillar supports the next — with D’Vinci continuing to provide hosting, platform maintenance, and creative oversight.
Bevera is now a future-facing ecosystem — designed to adapt, connect, and prosper alongside the people shaping Canada’s craft beverage industry.

Expanding into SaaS
As part of the broader repositioning, Bevera began laying the groundwork for a scalable SaaS offering — designed to deliver utility, not just visibility.
Rather than introducing standalone software in isolation, the SaaS model was embedded intuitively into the existing Bevera ecosystem. By leveraging long-standing relationships across events, digital channels, and print media, the brand could offer real, recurring value to its audience — tools that help them work smarter, while deepening engagement across Bevera’s touchpoints.
This approach created a win-win: value-driven software for the industry, and a more robust, connected business model for Bevera.
Visual Storytelling
Our approach to STADIUUM's platform was holistic. Beyond the initial engagement, our designs emphasised the business priority of subscription conversions. We developed vectorial illustrations catering to STADIUUM's target customer segments.
These illustrations were dual-purpose - identifying nad humanising with the core audience through user persona illustrations of the three core target audience subsets (sports bettors, sports fan & indsutry professional). As well as elucidating STADIUUM's unique market positioning through storng visual metaphor driven vectorial illustrations.

Immersive. Interactive. ROI Driven.
Every chart, graph, and data point was intentionally crafted to offer a multi-layered explorative experience. This ensured users didn't just view data, but actively interacted with it, making the process of comprehension immersive and memorable.
Though this process, attention can then be channeled into 1. subscription touch points. 2. betting affiliate marketing touch points. A tactical, ROI-centric SaaS platform construction fused into our UX approach.

First impressions are everything, especially in the digital landscape. D'Vinci recognised this and undertook the ambitious project of creating a landing page that would immediately captivate any visitor. The result was a mesmerizing vectorial illustration, meticulously crafted over 40+ hours, cutting through the complexity it strived to deliver an immediate intimacy to website visitors to what firesight is. visual and text narrative combing powerfully.
This visual masterpiece not only encapsulated the platform’s capabilities but also beckoned users to dive deeper. Paired with this, our team produced succinct, compelling narratives that effortlessly guided users through Firesight's offerings.

The Perfection of effortlessness
D'Vinci prioritised the integration of a voice-activated AI chat into Firesight.ai's platform. This wasn't just an add-on but a core user experience element. Our research dove into the daily rhythms and patterns of the target audience: freelancers, entrepreneurs & independent professionals. When do they typically access the platform? What kind of environment are they in? Are they more likely to type or to speak their queries? Answering these questions allowed us to tailor the voice chat's responsiveness and functionality to fit perfectly within their work habits.
